Brief
The emphasis of the interior décor concepts for this home was on using gentle colours and creating stylish comfort and ambience for the family.
Scope
Complete refurbishment including some structural changes, sourcing new appliances, and the total redecoration of a two-storey five-bedroom traditional family home.
Details
I spent a great deal of time on this project amounting to more than 18 months because I was hired to work on 5 of their properties simultaneously.
The work involved specifications for works to be carried out, briefing trades people, snagging their work, sourcing products, shopping with my client to choose new fixtures and fittings, furnishings and finishing touches (from towels and bed linens to cutlery and china – right down to the knives and forks!), as well as selecting fabrics, window treatments and all new colours schemes throughout.
I also styled all the interiors for each photo shoot for every scheme which entailed attending to the tiniest detail in every room to ensure each photo gave the best impression from an ideal angle including staging each of the table settings.
