Feng Shui Horoscopes: Part 7 – Your Best Directions & Your Worst Directions

Everyone has a set of four best directions and four worst directions based on their date of birth and their magic (or Kua) number . In turn, this means a person also has four best sectors and four worst sectors in the home. These eight directions are the directions of a compass – the four cardinal points which are north, south, east and west, and the four sub-cardinal points which are north-east, north-west, south-west and west. Depending on the communication group you belong to (east or west), your best and worst directions will belong to the east or to the west group and the order in which they fall will be determined by your magic number.

Our best directions are directions we should face or sectors in which we should locate ourselves within our homes, in order to get the maximum positive energy from our surroundings and therefore reach our maximum potential. Our worst directions should be avoided, in order to minimize any negative impact on our energy, and therefore on our health, and in our lives. The directions/sectors relate to:

  • Which way our home faces, its plot and the surrounding landscape
  • The direction of the door we use to enter the premises and the sector the hall falls into
  • The direction of the cooker and the sector the kitchen falls into
  • The direction of the bed and the sector the bedroom falls into
  • The direction our desk faces and the sector the office falls into
