I felt relief, vindicated, empowered, as well as in control and that a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. For me at the time I met Nina, she was a life saver! Background
Just before Christmas 2014, I was consulted by a family in distress whose lives were going badly: ill luck, financial woes, stress, sleeplessness, and health concerns. The husband had lost his job 3 years earlier, and neither he nor his wife could get work and at the time they had 4 teenagers all coming up to college age. Both parents and the eldest of their offspring were on anti-depressants and sleeping tablets. Two of their younger children had been bullied and ostracised at school, and the youngest was experiencing holdback due to a severe lack of confidence. None of them were sleeping properly and nothing was going right for them, from minor disappointments to major failures and lost opportunities. The mortgage had not been paid since their problems began and the bank were threatening foreclosure. The marriage was stressed, and their relationships outside the home were unsupportive and strained. There were no spare funds, savings or cashflow, and not enough money to make it from one week to the next, let alone to the end of each month.
Process
When I arrived, I remember feeling as though they needed a collective hug. They looked so drawn and exhausted from the strain of it all, and said they felt a sense of doom and hopelessness. I set to work. The property, a slightly worn but substantial 5-bedroom house was a complex fix. I set about doing an in-depth authentic feng shui analysis of all their birthdates and a full authentic feng shui assessment of their house to see how I could fix their problems and restore balance by applying measures to correct the misaligned energy. I needed to create harmony and positivity for them, find the potential within the family members themselves to optimise their lives, and maximise the energy of the spaces in their home. Although I work straight off to identify issues and solve problems, this took longer than usual. The family was bigger than average and everything I do is individualised. The house was relatively big, the property was of a complex design in terms of a feng shui analysis, and they had lived in it for a long time, so the effects on the family were more severe. I had to ensure my recommendations were budget friendly and easy to implement, as well as recommend natural complementary therapies and dietary changes to address issues with their health and well-being.
Transformation
I forecast there would be resistance from the energies in the house attempting to prevent the required authentic feng shui changes from going smoothy or even happening at all, so they took my advice and were determined to push through this stumbling block. As predicted, there were some slight delays, but they gained confidence from my detailed description of what would happen and when, and this helped them keep on track with their end goals in sight. Everyone was on board and once they carried out all the tasks on their list, within 3 months there was a powerful positive transformation. Health and relationships flourished. The kids did well in school, gained friends and were happy and communicative once more. The husband secured a well-paid dream job and the wife obtained part-time work for the kids’ final years at school. She plans to start a business once her youngest is in college. Their fortunes and finances turned around completely and suffice to say none of them are any longer on medication or suffering from depression, sleeplessness, or anxiety. In fact, parking space is now at a premium outside their house because they all possess their own vehicles, and regular holiday breaks are no longer out of reach. They have high hopes for a bright future, and all of them have peace of mind. They are one of the loveliest families I ever met and deserve their happy-ever-after.
