Background

A young professional woman gave up her job in the city and moved back to her hometown to join her family’s business. She bought a house nearby in which to start her new life, but within a couple of years the recession hit with the result  that her family’s business was going to be wound down so she needed to review her life again. Her long-term relationship had ended, and she was keen to meet someone new and have a family. She also wanted to consider using her artistic talents possibly as a business and wanted her home to better support her new life. She needed help with moving forward both personally and professionally and started off by calling me.

Process

This was a most enjoyable booking because I love when a client is enthusiastic about refreshing their home, and keen to achieve a total transformation in their life on all levels. As well as an in-depth authentic feng shui analysis of her birthdate followed by a comprehensive assessment of her home, I conducted an exercise with her to help her move her life forward on a personal level including what would suit her career-wise as well as the ideal potential partner for her. Then we tackled each room in the house and I helped her declutter and reorganise, gave her tips and advice, recommended how to match her energies to the energies of her spaces, as well as make how to make better use of storage and furnishings in her home. We mostly used what she already had and changed layouts, reused furnishings, organised possessions, and styled displays to create a beautiful and functional home. I educated her about best timing, and we worked on clearing space, so if required she could run her creative business from home. I also helped her with planning around what to do long term regarding her property.

Transformation

It was a high energy session, but we achieved an incredible turn-around and this ensured the transformation process would be more intense and happen more quickly. Not only was she delighted with the look of her principle rooms where everything was organised and in its right place without spending, but also had the feeling of serenity in each space. I made many recommendations to help her attract what she wanted into her life and to move forward in a constructive way. She met a wonderful man and they since married and had a family. She also made the most of her artistic talents and began living a more fulfilled life. She has since consulted with me to help with what was their interim home, prior to bringing me on board to help with their new house once their purchase has been finalised. I can’t wait to see her settled with her family in their new dream home fulfilled and content with how it all worked out.
